Homes For Sale In Provo
The bustling town of Provo is the largest city in the county and also the county seat, with a population of 116,288. Located 43 miles south of Salt Lake City, Provo is a “capital” city of it’s own. The city is home to the campus of Brigham Young University, a private university operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS).
Provo also has a reputation for great business. Several businesses have grown to be multi-million dollar companies right in the heart of Provo – including Novell, Vivint, Nu Skin, and Ancestry.com, and Qualtrics just to name a few.
There are no shortage of things to do in the city either, with two LDS temples, Sundance ski resort just a few minutes up the canyon, two shopping malls, and an abundance of hiking or biking trails. Real estate in the city is a nice blend of old a new. You can find a charming, bungalow style home built in the early 1900’s south of BYU campus, or opt for a new build on the bench or near the Provo River Bottoms.
